The Purpose Of This Website Is To Use The Bible To Help Identify, Explore, Research, And Analyze International Issues, Global Affairs, And Current Events Within A Given Geographic Framework To Unveil The Often Times Unseen Hand, And Scriptural Truth Of A Powerful, Wise, And Intelligent God Our Creator. A God That Is Able To Explain Via His Biblical Word And Intelligent Design The Fact That Mankind Is Not Alone In His Existence. A God Who Sent His Son, Jesus Christ, The Lord Of The Creation, And Savior Of Christendom To Redeem All Who Surrender Their Lives To Him From A Decaying Sin Filled World. A World With a World View Diametrically Opposed To The Plan Of A God Who Will Rebuild It According To His Own Word. It Is This God (Father, Son, And Holy Spirit) Who Is Still Involved In The Affairs Of The Nations. Jesus Christ Is God. Jesus Christ Will Soon Return To This Earth As King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords To Overthrow, And Take Control Of World Affairs. Moreover, The Website Will Aim To Follow Scriptural Truths To Provide Evidence That God Is Able To Predict The Behavior, And Outcome Of International Events As We Approach The Coming Of The Lord. Independent Thought? Because To Many Church Programs Avoid Doing It, And We Are Living In Times When Someone Has To Explain To Christians That The Same God Who Was Involved In The Political Ambitions Of The Nations Spoken Of In The Bible, Is The Same God Who Follows The Political Pursuits Of The Nations Of Today. “Independent Thought Written With A Bunch Of Words” Means An Independent Method To Include Biblical Insight Regarding The Political Relationships, And Dynamics Of Contemporary Issues, Because To Many Church Programs Will Not Include Studying International Political Interactions With A Consistent Long Term Interest. Independent Also Means I Will Not Allow The Powers That Be In This World To Persuade Me To Believe In Anything Outside The Trusted Confinements, And Revelations Of The Vast Almighty Word Of The Living God. President Obama’s Trip To Kenya, Economic Development, And The Al-Shabab Challenge

She is as the paradox of East Africa, or the punctual syntax in a statement that carries the presupposition that all African nations are failed states. Animated black panther manufactured from sparkling porcelain with a golden collar laced with spectacular emeralds around her neck. It provides light for a glimmer of hope in international studies. As a paradigm that will rest in the midday shade, and a short sprint of economic burst to start the day. The nation rests in the branches like a success in comparison to her geographical neighbors. The collar tends to serve as a sort of tracking device to monitor the economic expansion of her GDP. According to World Bank figures, with a population of 45.55 million denizens, and a GDP of $60.94 billion dollars, Kenya is certainly a hit by African standards. She is tantamount to a Third World nation’s success story in Sub-Saharan Africa, and her annual fiscal growth is expected to project a real GDP growth rate at 3.8% which is higher than most African nations. That track is expected to continue towards the 2017 period. Of the 54 nations the continent hosts, Kenya has traditionally been one of the blessed African nations: For the best part of its existence, the country has not been compelled to budget its resources to fight an internal rebellion. That has changed. GDP per capita income is $694 (USD). According to the World Gold Council, which measures gold reserves for Kenya, their amount stands at 0.03% tonnes.

The chief exports are predominantly agriculture products, and they include goods based on horticulture and tea. An expanded list must consider coffee, tea, textiles, petroleum, iron, steel, and cement. Major trading partners involve trading with the United States, the UK, Pakistan, the Netherlands, and the surrounding East African nations of Uganda and Tanzania. $45966.00 million in KES (Kenyan shillings) is the actual figure in trade exports. Primary imports are mostly machinery imports pertaining to transportation equipment, motor vehicles, steel, resin, and iron. Other important imports are petroleum and plastics. Major import trading partners are Saudi Arabia, India, the United States, China, South Africa, the UAE, and Japan. $144039.00 million KES (Kenyan shillings) is the actual figure in trade imports, while the current figure for external debt is $1361.00 billion (KES).

Kenya, like any other nation also has its share of problems. In July 2014 inflationary levels stood at a high 8.36%, but today nearly a year later that rate is down to 7.03%; however, food inflation is 13.39%, which is slightly up from a previous 13.2% (+1.44). Unemployment levels are at a high 40%, and poverty levels hover at 45.9% overall, which is, of course significantly high. Life expectancy is near 62 years old. To enjoy the benefits of better economic conditions education is a must, and Kenya has one of the highest scholastic enrollments in Africa at 114%. As a nation, Kenya is considered lower middle income. In order to track the performance of large companies in Kenya, the Nairobi Securities Exchange 20 (NSE20) is used as an indicator, and the current stock market index is 4539.47, which is down from 4578.62, and for now it is still sliding down (It has its fluctuating periods of peak performances).

The primary purpose for President Barack Obama’s trip to Kenya was to discuss security issues, and the need for the government to focus on combatting corruption. During his discussion with his Kenyan counterpart, President Uhuru Kenyatta, stood unmoved by President Obama’s appeal to allow his nation to ease restrictions on gay rights. Today, gay couples or those accused of homosexuality can be imprisoned in Kenya. Nevertheless, the Kenyan president rightly informed his American counterpart, whom is still considered a local by-product of Kenyan heritage, that there were many more important issues that Kenyans face. Personally, I cannot comprehend why he would mention such a thing, during a major diplomatic discussion of such a magnitude. The poverty rate in Kenya is at 45.9%. Is one supposed to be walking around as hungry unemployed homosexuals?

In the year 2007, Kenyans saw widespread ethnic violence during, and after participation in their presidential elections, which were accused by voters of being rigged. While Kenya has roughly 70 ethnicities, the largest ethnic groups consist of five groups: Kikuyu – 20%, Luhya – 14%, Luo – 13% (The ethnic group that reportedly sponsored Christian prophet Johanwa Owalo, who in 1912, allegedly prophesied a son of Kenyan heritage will cause America to burn), Kalenjin – 11%, and Kamba – 11%. The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) was supported by Luhya, Luo, and Kalenjin groups, but the Party of National Unity (PNU) gained popular support from the Kikuyu ethnic group. On December 27, 2007, voter turn out was at approximately 70% of the legal voting age population, and European Union monitors were on hand to check for a free and fair election. Incumbent President Mwai Kibaki, of the PNU was reportedly losing the vote to ODM leader Raila Odinga (a first cousin of U.S. President Barack Obama). Yet, Samuel Kivuitu, Kenya’s Electoral Commission Chairman, announced President Mwai Kibaki, as the presidential legal winner on December 30, 2007. EU monitors felt ODM figure Raila Odinga, had been cheated of the election result, and apparently his supporters agreed. Widespread fratricidal ethnic violence, and murders plagued supporters of both political parties, and Kenyan police were also accused in taking part in much of the violence.

International observers on human rights, the United Nations Security Council, The International Criminal Court in the Hague, the African Union, and several other prominent international organizations pressured the political parties to end the violence, and the judicial-political process in Kenya introduced a series of reforms to prevent election oriented violence to ever commence in Kenya again. However, the ICC eventually brought criminal charges against the “Ocampo Six” which was portrayed as instigating the violence. At one point, the ICC even ignored disagreement with the UNSC to pursue the charges. Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta (the son of Kenya’s founding father whom was the first president of the nation), was also one of the Kenyan Ocampo Six, and he fought the charges for years. On December 14, 2014, the charges against him by the ICC were finally dropped. He was also declared the free and fair winner in the 2014 elections in Kenya.

Why did President Obama visit Kenya now as opposed to before? I believe he answered that a few years ago. In 2009, during a visit to Ghana to meet with his Ghanian counterpart President John Atta Mills, President Obama said, “We think Ghana can be a measure of extraordinary success throughout the continent”. Later, in an interview with AllAfrica.com he declared, “For many years we made excuses about corruption, or poor governance insisting this was somehow the consequence of neocolonialism, or the West has been oppressive, or racism”. In other words, President Obama shuns those nations that engage in what is perceived as senseless violence from those who lack the basic intellectual discourse to peacefully handle disputes via negotiated settlements. On Saturday July 11, 2009 he said in his address to Ghana’s parliament “It is easy to point fingers, and to pin the blame for these problems on others. Yes, a colonial map that made little sense bred conflict, and the West has often approached Africa as a patron, rather than a partner. But the West is not responsible for the destruction of the Zimbabwean economy over the last decade, or wars in which children are enlisted as combatants.” When addressing the reason he chose Ghana to visit, and not Kenya he further explained. “Here in Ghana, you show us a face of Africa that is too often overlooked by a world that sees only tragedy or the need for charity. The people of Ghana have worked hard to put democracy on a firmer footing, with peaceful transfers of power even in the wake of closely contested elections. And with improved governance and an emerging civil society, Ghana’s economy has shown impressive rates of growth.” President Obama believes Kenya has finally reached that level of acceptability when it concentrates on economic growth, democratic ideals, and stabilizing its markets to attract investment, but it must continue to shun war, instability, and corruption which retards fiscal growth.

As for Kenya and Ethiopia, a letter signed by 13 signatories sponsored by Amnesty International stated, “Both countries face real security threats but we are concerned by the way in which each government has responded, often with abusive security measures and increased efforts to stifle civil society and independent media.” The letter went on to state there is a need to “address both new and longstanding challenges with which the country continues to grapple – from security force impunity and the need for criminal justice reforms, to an increasingly restrictive environment for media and civil society, and growing pressure on Kenya’s Somali refugee population and its Muslim communities.” I imagine this is a portion of the corruption President Obama recognized worth mentioning. If the aforementioned reports are accurate, both countries have reasons for behaving in this way.

In October of 2011, Kenya sent soldiers across the border to battle al-shabab militants, after accusing the group of kidnapping Kenyans. In 2012, the Somali based Islamic terror group Al-Shabaab (The Youth – A splinter group from the ‘Islamic Courts Union’ whose members were defeated by a joint Somali-Ethiopian military venture in 2006) publicly declared its allegiance to Al-Qaeda. The group has since instigated a series of high-profile attacks in Kenya and Ethiopia. The most notorious of these attacks came when they sent in teams of terror cells to attack the Westgate Mall in Nairobi. The group claimed responsibility for the attack on September 21, 2013. The town of Mpeketoni, was another place the group attacked in a two day siege that led to the slaying of 60 people from the Kikuyu ethnic group. The murdered were believed to have been killed as a symbolic strike against the ethnic group of President Uhuru Kenyatta. The latest attack was on July 07, 2015, in the Kenyan town of Soko Mbuzi, of Northern Kenya, where the group is believed to be responsible for killing 14 Kenyans. Al-Shabab is also known for murdering Christians in cold blood after separating, and singling out known Christian worshippers from other groups. The last presidential strong man in Somalia was the government of President Muhammad Siad Barre, and since his fall in 1991, Kenya has taken in many ethnic Somali refugees. I imagine they are tested in government sponsored campaigns to root out suspected collaborators of the Al-Shabab group.

Last, President Obama pledged support towards counter terrorism efforts, but stated “If in reaction to terrorism, you’re restricting legitimate organizations, reducing the scope of peaceful organization, then that can have the inadvertent effect of increasing the pool of recruits for terrorism.” I really hope not! President Obama seemed to have a good time with family members he knew, and some he never met before. Good! Some Kenyans felt critical that he waited for so long to visit the nation that bore his paternal family, and some even felt President Bush contributed much more towards Africa’s medical and economic development. I second that. Security concerns forbade him to visit the village his father is from. However, before he moves on to Ethiopia, he gives Kenya a big emotional hug. She is the Republic of Kenya.

The Question Of Illegal Immigration In America

The Question Of Illegal Immigration America
05-24-2015

The question becomes. What are the true unemployment statistics in the USA? Hopefully, I can come up with an answer. In August of 2014, according to Louis Efron, a contributing Writer for Forbes Magazine, it was widely reported by federal agencies (for example, The U.S. Bureau For Labor Statistics – BLS) that the figure for the unemployed was 6.2% – 08/20/2014, while the true number was reported at 12.6%. About 9 months prior to this rate Barbara Boland, wrote a piece for CNS News that placed the government rate at 7.3%, and the true figures at 13.8%. Both Researchers used information from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to indicate the marginalized real rates for a true number of those unemployed. So, What is the true unemployment figure? The government officially reported the unemployment figure at 5.5%, while the true figure is currently 10.6% as of April 2015 (I have encountered the arguments of those who suggests those figures can be inflated to be as high as 17%). It is this 10.6% figure that takes into account those whom are unemployed, due to government institutions regarding them as not being considered for individuals actively seeking work. Such persons are perceived as potential workers who dropped out of the labor force under the self-professed belief that an overwhelming labor shortage exist that lacks the functionality to accommodate their integration into the labor market.

As a domestic born and bred American citizen, I could still recollect the days in my later teens, and early twenties, when businesses trained entry level workers, and/or interns to elevate their assets to perform their duties at a certain skill level. During the early 1980’s, I witnessed a series of machinations invented involving various robotic technologies meant, and installed into American industries to de-skill the work force which gradually ruined the previous ease that workers found at finding employment. It was a revolution of technocrats that hurt the integration of job seekers into the career centers of America’s northern cities: One example would be the miniscule amount of bank tellers as operatives as replaced by the permeation of ATM machines instead. Take those ATM machines for example, some business leaders argue that outsourcing work to foreign enterprises to be manufactured at a cheaper rate will help the American job market in the long run, because the revenue generated by the goods will be used in the economic recovery of America to create more jobs here at home. Is there any guarantee the revenue will be used for that purpose? In a study conducted by Michael Pence, a Nobel Prize winning Economist, of the 27 million jobs created by companies involving international trade from 1990-2008, only 2% were created by such companies.

Apparently, since the last three decades, America has dealt with an emerging illegal immigration crisis which has accumulated to burden America’s economy, in terms of a never ending cycle of supply and demand to get the good out of the place: the job supply part is the problem. Today, we have a president who threatens to utilize the hammer of executive orders to nail together a framework to either appease foreign leaders, or grant amnesty for undocumented people whom are not born in America, because of the bellicose tone of the local leadership representing these communities. I don’t know what the hell the president is doing, but I do know he is not as naive at doing what he is doing while he does what he is doing.

As a young college student, I once had a College professor who declared to the students. “There is enough room to accommodate all of us”. No, actually there’s not. I really don’t think there is when I think about it. Today, I look retrospectively and feel the prof was lying, because the classroom was filled with people who wanted to hear the professor say precisely what he said. I sometimes get the feeling the nation was invaded, and America is now being groomed by a backward Jupitonian version of the United States of America. Don’t worry about it, because it’s just a feeling I get every now and then. For instance, let’s take this verse from the holy bible, and apply it to modern day America, and it’s possible some of you who were born in America, and have patriotic proclivities may get that feeling too. It could be just me, but the verse states, “The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low. He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail”. Deuteronomy 28:43-44. Once we had a very generous foreign aid package, but today we have an 11 trillion dollar trade deficit. Recently, some South Africans living in areas of destitution in their own nation rioted, and government authorities forcibly quelled the violence with law enforcement personnel, because the strangers from the surrounding nations were getting up above them “very high” in the job market, and they could not compete against what was happening; therefore, they took to violence to vent their frustrations. You the reader may ask, Why does he have to write about that? Why does he select such a sensitive topic? Because I have to fill blog space that’s why.

Why write something if you don’t have solutions to offer? Good question. That brings me to think about something. But first I have to unveil some more research work. According to various sources here are the top 5 cities with the slowest economic growth indexes in America for 2013. The expected decrease in economic growth as projected towards 2014 is also indicated:

1) Steubenville – Weirton OH & WV – Retraction 2.2% From 2.6%
2) Layetteville – LA Retraction 2.1% From 3.2%
3) Yuma – AZ Retraction 1.3% From 3.2%
4) Decatur – IL Retraction 0.8% From 4.8%
5) Shreveport-Bosseir City – LA Retraction 1.6% From 5.2%

The five cities above are merely examples to justify a suggestion. Personally, I do not believe the argument that foreign immigration is necessary to offset an aging American population that lacks the manpower via a younger generation to operate the jobs. I view that argument as nonsense. The American economy was the greatest in the world prior to the second world war, and in the contemporary era we only began seriously faltering after a massive immigration to the tune of 11-20 million undocumented aliens who began arriving here. I find it difficult to believe 300 million Americans could not be trained to do any job in the nation without having help from some place else. Moreover, at times the senior citizen population has to be convinced to retire from employment they held for many years. Personally, I view those people who come here as undocumented aliens as law breakers and criminals, because they broke the laws to do so. All nations have immigration laws and anyone who chooses to dispute that please go penetrate the internationally recognized borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran, or the geo-political boundaries of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea without prior government permission from the authorities of the respective countries involved and see what happens. If they obtain the opportunity to do so, they can email me their experiences. With such massive undocumented illegal people here, it’s like a diplomatic precedent has been opened via customary international law. If one is claiming they came to America, due to being a refugee, I can see two justifications for that claim, and both involve international law (I believe most people came here to earn a buck): 1) The 1967 Protocol Relating To The Status of Refugees; and 2) the 1951 United Nations Convention Relating To The Status of Refugees. Does anyone believe the 11-20 million undocumented aliens who came to America within the last 30 years fits into any one of these two categories? Both internationally recognized treaties rely heavily on protection from persecution, or prosecution for religious, political, or other activities deemed violent to refugees.

The plight of the Christian community in Syria (or certain areas of Pakistan) would justifiably benefit from the relief of such internationally recognized treaties. Jesus said, “If when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, til the Son of man be come”. Matthew 10:23. If persecution is too vicious in a given area, and law enforcement is unable, or unwilling to intervene, if possible the persecuted should leave that area, because it may be the best situation for survival. Realizing the brutality and the impact of international images created by ISIS in Libya, Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, used warplanes to retaliate against antagonistic jihadist whom expedited a conflict in Libya against Coptic Christian Egyptian citizens. I am no means saying Syria’s war embattled President Bashir Assad, has no crimes in his closet; however, if not for his Shia oriented Baathist Alawite minority run regime, the Christian community in Syria would potentially have collapsed long ago, and suffered the possible nasties of Sharia law.

As for the documented people who come here for reasons pertaining to work-visas, education, etc., Why are they crowded into cities where prosperity is customary, and whose populations are already burgeoning? Once upon a time, I emailed the offices of the two democratic Senators of my state (New York) about this, and failed to receive any feedback at all on my questions. They are Senator’s Charles Schumer (D-NY), and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY). Albeit, at least Senator Gillibrand’s office did respond by sending me newsletters. Instead of helping the economic situations of the poor, instead, they are giving the perception it’s necessary to be in front of news media cameras worrying about how to help the homosexuals, because that’s what they want to do. Are there no poor homosexuals (Why do they get quazi-preferred attention above other communities? Everyone who needs help needs help)? Jesus let all the world know He had compassion for the poor when He divided the fish and spread the bread.

By utilizing deductive reasoning to fractionalize a particular portion of the immigrant community, since immigrants seem to have to come here, and our government is lax about enforcing the laws already on the books, Why can’t our government intentionally steer those legally recognized immigrants adroit in business skills to those cities where a heavy dose of economic blood is needed to help jump start the local economic spin cycle for that metropolis? After they’re business ventures take off, federal laws should be created by legislatures to compel immigrant business owners with seven or more employees to hire, at least one domestic born American citizen to help stem the percent of unemployment, under-employment, seasonal employment, semi-employment, and part-time employed with a preference for full-time employment in this United States of America. When American companies outsource manufacturing, and other jobs to foreign workers their citizens get the jobs. When they outsource their populations here, Why shouldn’t American citizens get a job (and please don’t say a lot of born, and bred American citizens don’t want to work when I weekly witness hundreds of people competing for one job. Yet, if you don’t think so, I appeal to you to open an account on LinkedIn.com, and you can also witness the quantity of applicants competing for jobs with the data that website creates for public consumption)? What does this do for Americans? It helps put people back to work, and it helps wean people off government subsidies.

How dare William Tisdale (That Exquisite Writer guy) say something like that? It’s about Fair Trade practices not only in the sphere of the economy, but also in the spheres of the religio-cultural phenomena that’s being traded too. Here’s another example. Are America’s Southern Baptist allowed to open multiple church buildings free from fear for Christian worshippers in Saudi Arabia, Iran, or Pakistan? With the recent arrest here in the USA of a trio of Chinese professors who work at Tianjin university involved in the practice of technological espionage, Will China permit foreign people to infiltrate their police, and military agencies, or companies to gather intelligence about their resources to operate against foreign powers, or examine the ingenious inventions of Chinese inventors? Anyone comes here and they go everywhere. Many of these people harbor resentment over America’s wealth, spite over America’s international influence, and some undoubtedly carry treacherous ulterior motives, because they are not the friends of America. The Department of Homeland Security? Perhaps, there should be a registry monitoring system (not those damn suspicious and potentially mark of the beast microchips; although, if the government is overly suspicious of an incoming person’s potentially concealed, pernicious stratagem, maybe that’s the price they pay to come here) for at least the first five-ten years of any newly arrived immigrants with a shady past, or with a questionable motivation to monitor their movements. That list would include but not be limited to those suspected as terrorist, spies, drug dealers, those involved in sexual assaults, and anyone foreign born individual whom served as a conviction for a felony in an overseas detention facility. Yeah, I know. Why won’t industrially advanced societies just keep people like that out altogether. Right? My fellow domestic born Americans (and even kind just want to live a happier life nationalized citizens) apparently this government (and it’s industrialized international clones) seemingly prefers to lose the will to do that, and they want you to lose the will to do that too right along with your second Amendment rights, so you won’t be able to protect yourselves. If you are a true Christian there’s better news: You’re just passing through, and you conclusively serve a higher Master Who is not of this world.
