She is as the paradox of East Africa, or the punctual syntax in a statement that carries the presupposition that all African nations are failed states. Animated black panther manufactured from sparkling porcelain with a golden collar laced with spectacular emeralds around her neck. It provides light for a glimmer of hope in international studies. As a paradigm that will rest in the midday shade, and a short sprint of economic burst to start the day. The nation rests in the branches like a success in comparison to her geographical neighbors. The collar tends to serve as a sort of tracking device to monitor the economic expansion of her GDP. According to World Bank figures, with a population of 45.55 million denizens, and a GDP of $60.94 billion dollars, Kenya is certainly a hit by African standards. She is tantamount to a Third World nation’s success story in Sub-Saharan Africa, and her annual fiscal growth is expected to project a real GDP growth rate at 3.8% which is higher than most African nations. That track is expected to continue towards the 2017 period. Of the 54 nations the continent hosts, Kenya has traditionally been one of the blessed African nations: For the best part of its existence, the country has not been compelled to budget its resources to fight an internal rebellion. That has changed. GDP per capita income is $694 (USD). According to the World Gold Council, which measures gold reserves for Kenya, their amount stands at 0.03% tonnes.

The chief exports are predominantly agriculture products, and they include goods based on horticulture and tea. An expanded list must consider coffee, tea, textiles, petroleum, iron, steel, and cement. Major trading partners involve trading with the United States, the UK, Pakistan, the Netherlands, and the surrounding East African nations of Uganda and Tanzania. $45966.00 million in KES (Kenyan shillings) is the actual figure in trade exports. Primary imports are mostly machinery imports pertaining to transportation equipment, motor vehicles, steel, resin, and iron. Other important imports are petroleum and plastics. Major import trading partners are Saudi Arabia, India, the United States, China, South Africa, the UAE, and Japan. $144039.00 million KES (Kenyan shillings) is the actual figure in trade imports, while the current figure for external debt is $1361.00 billion (KES).

Kenya, like any other nation also has its share of problems. In July 2014 inflationary levels stood at a high 8.36%, but today nearly a year later that rate is down to 7.03%; however, food inflation is 13.39%, which is slightly up from a previous 13.2% (+1.44). Unemployment levels are at a high 40%, and poverty levels hover at 45.9% overall, which is, of course significantly high. Life expectancy is near 62 years old. To enjoy the benefits of better economic conditions education is a must, and Kenya has one of the highest scholastic enrollments in Africa at 114%. As a nation, Kenya is considered lower middle income. In order to track the performance of large companies in Kenya, the Nairobi Securities Exchange 20 (NSE20) is used as an indicator, and the current stock market index is 4539.47, which is down from 4578.62, and for now it is still sliding down (It has its fluctuating periods of peak performances).

The primary purpose for President Barack Obama’s trip to Kenya was to discuss security issues, and the need for the government to focus on combatting corruption. During his discussion with his Kenyan counterpart, President Uhuru Kenyatta, stood unmoved by President Obama’s appeal to allow his nation to ease restrictions on gay rights. Today, gay couples or those accused of homosexuality can be imprisoned in Kenya. Nevertheless, the Kenyan president rightly informed his American counterpart, whom is still considered a local by-product of Kenyan heritage, that there were many more important issues that Kenyans face. Personally, I cannot comprehend why he would mention such a thing, during a major diplomatic discussion of such a magnitude. The poverty rate in Kenya is at 45.9%. Is one supposed to be walking around as hungry unemployed homosexuals?

In the year 2007, Kenyans saw widespread ethnic violence during, and after participation in their presidential elections, which were accused by voters of being rigged. While Kenya has roughly 70 ethnicities, the largest ethnic groups consist of five groups: Kikuyu – 20%, Luhya – 14%, Luo – 13% (The ethnic group that reportedly sponsored Christian prophet Johanwa Owalo, who in 1912, allegedly prophesied a son of Kenyan heritage will cause America to burn), Kalenjin – 11%, and Kamba – 11%. The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) was supported by Luhya, Luo, and Kalenjin groups, but the Party of National Unity (PNU) gained popular support from the Kikuyu ethnic group. On December 27, 2007, voter turn out was at approximately 70% of the legal voting age population, and European Union monitors were on hand to check for a free and fair election. Incumbent President Mwai Kibaki, of the PNU was reportedly losing the vote to ODM leader Raila Odinga (a first cousin of U.S. President Barack Obama). Yet, Samuel Kivuitu, Kenya’s Electoral Commission Chairman, announced President Mwai Kibaki, as the presidential legal winner on December 30, 2007. EU monitors felt ODM figure Raila Odinga, had been cheated of the election result, and apparently his supporters agreed. Widespread fratricidal ethnic violence, and murders plagued supporters of both political parties, and Kenyan police were also accused in taking part in much of the violence.

International observers on human rights, the United Nations Security Council, The International Criminal Court in the Hague, the African Union, and several other prominent international organizations pressured the political parties to end the violence, and the judicial-political process in Kenya introduced a series of reforms to prevent election oriented violence to ever commence in Kenya again. However, the ICC eventually brought criminal charges against the “Ocampo Six” which was portrayed as instigating the violence. At one point, the ICC even ignored disagreement with the UNSC to pursue the charges. Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta (the son of Kenya’s founding father whom was the first president of the nation), was also one of the Kenyan Ocampo Six, and he fought the charges for years. On December 14, 2014, the charges against him by the ICC were finally dropped. He was also declared the free and fair winner in the 2014 elections in Kenya.

Why did President Obama visit Kenya now as opposed to before? I believe he answered that a few years ago. In 2009, during a visit to Ghana to meet with his Ghanian counterpart President John Atta Mills, President Obama said, “We think Ghana can be a measure of extraordinary success throughout the continent”. Later, in an interview with AllAfrica.com he declared, “For many years we made excuses about corruption, or poor governance insisting this was somehow the consequence of neocolonialism, or the West has been oppressive, or racism”. In other words, President Obama shuns those nations that engage in what is perceived as senseless violence from those who lack the basic intellectual discourse to peacefully handle disputes via negotiated settlements. On Saturday July 11, 2009 he said in his address to Ghana’s parliament “It is easy to point fingers, and to pin the blame for these problems on others. Yes, a colonial map that made little sense bred conflict, and the West has often approached Africa as a patron, rather than a partner. But the West is not responsible for the destruction of the Zimbabwean economy over the last decade, or wars in which children are enlisted as combatants.” When addressing the reason he chose Ghana to visit, and not Kenya he further explained. “Here in Ghana, you show us a face of Africa that is too often overlooked by a world that sees only tragedy or the need for charity. The people of Ghana have worked hard to put democracy on a firmer footing, with peaceful transfers of power even in the wake of closely contested elections. And with improved governance and an emerging civil society, Ghana’s economy has shown impressive rates of growth.” President Obama believes Kenya has finally reached that level of acceptability when it concentrates on economic growth, democratic ideals, and stabilizing its markets to attract investment, but it must continue to shun war, instability, and corruption which retards fiscal growth.

As for Kenya and Ethiopia, a letter signed by 13 signatories sponsored by Amnesty International stated, “Both countries face real security threats but we are concerned by the way in which each government has responded, often with abusive security measures and increased efforts to stifle civil society and independent media.” The letter went on to state there is a need to “address both new and longstanding challenges with which the country continues to grapple – from security force impunity and the need for criminal justice reforms, to an increasingly restrictive environment for media and civil society, and growing pressure on Kenya’s Somali refugee population and its Muslim communities.” I imagine this is a portion of the corruption President Obama recognized worth mentioning. If the aforementioned reports are accurate, both countries have reasons for behaving in this way.

In October of 2011, Kenya sent soldiers across the border to battle al-shabab militants, after accusing the group of kidnapping Kenyans. In 2012, the Somali based Islamic terror group Al-Shabaab (The Youth – A splinter group from the ‘Islamic Courts Union’ whose members were defeated by a joint Somali-Ethiopian military venture in 2006) publicly declared its allegiance to Al-Qaeda. The group has since instigated a series of high-profile attacks in Kenya and Ethiopia. The most notorious of these attacks came when they sent in teams of terror cells to attack the Westgate Mall in Nairobi. The group claimed responsibility for the attack on September 21, 2013. The town of Mpeketoni, was another place the group attacked in a two day siege that led to the slaying of 60 people from the Kikuyu ethnic group. The murdered were believed to have been killed as a symbolic strike against the ethnic group of President Uhuru Kenyatta. The latest attack was on July 07, 2015, in the Kenyan town of Soko Mbuzi, of Northern Kenya, where the group is believed to be responsible for killing 14 Kenyans. Al-Shabab is also known for murdering Christians in cold blood after separating, and singling out known Christian worshippers from other groups. The last presidential strong man in Somalia was the government of President Muhammad Siad Barre, and since his fall in 1991, Kenya has taken in many ethnic Somali refugees. I imagine they are tested in government sponsored campaigns to root out suspected collaborators of the Al-Shabab group.

Last, President Obama pledged support towards counter terrorism efforts, but stated “If in reaction to terrorism, you’re restricting legitimate organizations, reducing the scope of peaceful organization, then that can have the inadvertent effect of increasing the pool of recruits for terrorism.” I really hope not! President Obama seemed to have a good time with family members he knew, and some he never met before. Good! Some Kenyans felt critical that he waited for so long to visit the nation that bore his paternal family, and some even felt President Bush contributed much more towards Africa’s medical and economic development. I second that. Security concerns forbade him to visit the village his father is from. However, before he moves on to Ethiopia, he gives Kenya a big emotional hug. She is the Republic of Kenya.

Donald Trump: The Capricious Bad Boy Of The Republican Party
Jul 6, 2015

They didn’t want to call him “The Donald” because they did not want to. They did not mean to call him at all. He indicated he is running to make America great again. He is dubbed “clown” by major news outlets. Could he become the Grand Slam player in the tuxedo of unpredictability to accurately manipulate the laws of probability, and win the presidency of the United States of America?

The wild card ace up the sleeve of a predicament, the glamourous town car of the debonair politician, the hint of the billionaire boys club, and my fellow native New Yorker that drives away from the alleged Rockefellas New World Order plans. He reportedly is pro-life. He believes marriage is between one man and one woman. He is the one that dares to defy those who constructed the highways, and frowns upon the international pavement that led to the controversial economic conclave called NAFTA. The thumb of a contentious relationship goes underneath the chin, and the back of the other fingers go underneath the lip as he ponders counter punches against a list of growing rivals, whom are called upon by Hispanic communities to combine their voices to force him out. Not too many years ago. Mexico’s own former leader, President Vicente Fox, spoke out in a racial diatribe against the black American community, who held no ill will against him before his vociferous saber rattle. As a Christian, I believe that we should forgive a man who asked for it, but that doesn’t mean we can’t mention it. The true lion will get his mane mangled in the battle and fight on, and after intermittent quarrels with President Obama for many years, this time his presidential run is no mere publicity stunt. It is a unique growl to expose the numerous clans of hyenas who come in from all directions, and challenge the pride in the midst of its territory. There will still be those who admire a noble fight. The list of antagonists will grow, and the courage of the cubs will stir. Dark clouds gather on the horizon to signify a mysterious presence is mounting, as upcoming days in this world grow darker by the passing years. Some spectators will choose to enter the battle with night vision. Moved by emotion for his speaking out in favor of the Kate Steinle family pain, and having positioned themselves in a shared visceral agreement with the man at the helm who boast a treasure chest of $8.7 billion dollars in assets to fight back (Forbes magazine and others lower that amount), the lionesses of the people will offer their support, and now they also will enter the field of battle: The Donald is rising fast in the opinion polls.

Not all lions specialize as large game hunters, and some have even been seriously injured if not outright killed hunting larger game. Nonetheless, the urge to dine on the spoils of the prey is real, and the goal for victory with an aim to rebuild the American military is clear. Building more jobs is an added promise not to mention a benefit. This is a battle of wits, fear, bravery, the foolhardy, courage, and the ferocity of lawsuits: NBC, Rapper Flo-Rida, Macys, Univision, NASCAR, Golf Tournament’s PGA (and similar groups), and Serta all pulled out of contributing their talents to be associated with anything having to do with Donald Trump. This is the type of battle we’re at this time. Jeannie Mai, is like the leopardess who stayed in the tree, pointed her ears backwards, growled, flicked her pretty lil tail, and then stood her ‘ground’. It is wrong that those women who go to compete in the Miss Universe beauty pageant should have to pay a price, because of a political situation in which they had no control. They didn’t insult anyone, and they shouldn’t be penalized for others. They groomed their physical appearance to appear beautiful, they studied on how to answer tricky questions, they practiced how to walk and how to talk, and now it was in vain? That should not be. Paulina Vega, the reigning Miss Universe denounced Trump’s comments. ‘The Reelz’ cable TV station entered the scene with a ground for explanations as they appealed to the public to hear them out. And they were wise enough to take a camera crew with them in the jeep. That’s how you film the beauty contestants strut their lil beauty contestant stuff for public consumption. Is he a wounded lion on the prowl? In accordance with the laws of contrition, that either makes him more deadly to his opponents, or he will be the resilient benefactor. Not all lions specialize as larger game hunters, but they will on occasion battle one another for ultimate supremacy. So, some lions (but not all) will specialize as the elephant hunters on the plains. He is a member of the Grand Old Party, and they are the elephants in the area of the battle. Lions have manes and he is different from the others. There are particular news Reporters who will patrol the battle field, spit graffiti on the rocks like cobras, and instigate the contestants feud away from the important issues of repairing the fiscal situation at hand. The Donald doesn’t “think much of Bush” who in return “didn’t think much of Donald” either. Rosie O’ Donell can sit this one out. Cher didn’t consider much of Donald either. The lionesses who reside near the southern border of the pride territory, and feel the cringe of the hyenas closing in will feel “who cares”! They want something done. They just have to live there. Do you? They feel they finally have a candidate willing to confront the problem head on, and speak up about it. He does not come with lobbyist, and he comes with his own money supply to finance his own campaign. Would it be naive to believe he is not vulnerable to outside pressure? Particular branches of Native American tribes watch like weakened meerkats waiting for the next batch of hyenas fixated on crossing their reservation to move in on the pride. Can we or should we remember that the man who currently occupies the White House had raised much of his own money via means outside the conventional wisdom this electoral system had to offer? Do you believe President Barack Obama, is running every administrative mechanism of his own accord? Is he ever under external (or internal) pressure to make deals, and produce results? I’m not merely referring to here at home, but this question also pertains to U.S. interest abroad.

However, it is true that there are hyenas of illegal immigration who come from around the world, and roam the borders of the pride’s territory, and far too many times they live different from the pride. Some will on occasion enter the territory uninvited, and will quarrel with the pride for bones to crush, while laughing with the vultures who eat the marrow. Our SCOTUS, is as the bald eagles who have given the hyenas a license to vote in our elections. Hyenas come in from all areas of the world. They will not always assimilate into the culture, but they want to be one with the money. Who is the true God? They snicker and choose mammon. According to the Laws of Probability several multi-millionaires, and millionaires tend to make the presidential list viz a viz the economic times, but billionaires are a rare commodity to make the presidential list. The pride on the other hand, will far to many times allow the elevation of the clan in it’s own territory, because they want to remove the border, and merge the territory of the clan with the territory of the pride to create one international assignment within the context of global ramifications. Revelation 13:11-18. Today, the example you see in this form, sits on the other side of the Atlantic ocean. But another lion arose. His roar doesn’t sound like the others, and he is regarded as an invader in his own territory. His strategy? I don’t know. Let’s speculate. 1) He kills off enough elephants, and continues to rise in the ranks, and finally targets the jackass in the Democratic party. 2) In his race for the finish line, he roars one to many times, and makes a liable mistake (Did he already?), like the last billionaire (who was taken seriously) who rose in the ranks, and withdrew to the disappointment of his supporters: H. Ross Perot. 3) The chorus of voices in the Republican party, and business leaders grows, which causes him to succumb to the pressure, and he withdraws altogether (we in New York just saw this in the form of another New Yorker, Anthony Weiner). 4) Eventually, he catches a break when another “breaking news” story slows down the momentum of people requesting he drop out of the race as a presidential candidate. This distraction could allow him the breathing space to continue his move forward. 5) He falsely believes controversy helps him ride the surface of the wave, but lacks talking sufficiently about the definitions for solving the jobs, education, economic, rail and road, bridge and tunnel, national security, and other issues of importance to American citizens (I know… I know… he’s working on smoothing out the racial controversy now). 6) Living in wealth he forgets there are still Occupy Wall Street type people in the world who resent the wealthy, and with promises of more job creation, can he connect with them to win over votes? If the Occupy Wall Street people, and the Tea Party people ever concentrated on their similarities, and united on those fronts, and focused less on their differences, they could be a serious force to contend with. 7) He finally apologizes and I do not know exactly what he does from there. 8) The media or other forces that disagree with Donald Trump will seek to dig up some scandalous dirt on Donald Trump no matter how far back they need to dig TO MAGNIFY RECYCLED INFORMATION (think Herman Cain or the need to mar his business reputation for questionable dealings. Will he get pass the McCain comments?). 9) It is a pity that I don’t hear anyone asking. Who the Christian candidate? As far as I am concerned, God is the most important Figure in any race for president anywhere. Is the Jeremiah Wright incident the reason for this? Or have we simply moved into a time where influential atheism is being used as a device to weed out those opposed to issues considered vices by biblical standards. Is this being done to move forward in the transgression of God’s moral laws? Christians are required to pray always. If we do not even notice it, Who will?

Will Donald Trump win the presidency of the United States? We’re living in strange times with unforeseen events moving rapidly, and while it may not be likely, it’s definitely possible. President Barack Obama has proven it’s for God to determine for His own reasons, and for His own purpose. That’s my answer. This is William Tisdale. This Is The Exquisite Writer.

Update 07/08/2015 – The RNC has officially called on Donald Trump to tone down his rhetoric.

Update 07/10/2015 – Donald Trump holds press conferences in Los Angeles with Americans who vent their frustration that not enough is being done to stop illegal immigrants, who have harmed, or even killed Americans. This is his way of showing off the families of victims to connect with the common man, and demonstrate he understands their frustrations. It may work in the short run, but to win a higher office he must at some point further transition to various wave lengths, and demonstrate he also understands other issues that for now has received less media attention (See number 5 above). I expect that to happen at some point. The calculation and timing must be correct.

Update 07/21/2015 – Ohio Governor Kasich (R) enters the GOP race, and he becomes the 16th contender to gain the Republican nomination for president. Senator Lindsey Graham publicly declares Donald Trump does not have to be “the world’s biggest jackass” just because he’s running for president. Trump replies by refering to Senator Graham as an “idiot”, and then provides his personal cellphone number on live television. The Senator’s phone begins ringing off the hook.

***Update – Often times when threatened by predators, elephants will herd around their young to protect them. When the upcoming Republican debate happens, Will we see traditionally seasoned Republican politicians rally in an alliance to attack Donald Trump, for the sake of protecting the establishment, to isolate, and force him from the race? The elephant that can provoke the lion into attacks, can become better known than it’s rivals.

Update – 07/23/2015 Donald Trump threatens a 3rd party run, if he feels the RNC is being unfair to him. The Count? 2 Jackasses, 15 Elephants & 1 Lion, and/or potentially 1 Lion as a 3rd party candidate (if Donald Trump decides to leave the Republican Party).
